Environment
Environmental sustainability is a key concern that underpins social developement, as those living below the poverty line directly rely on the water and land resources sorrounding their communities. Most of the population in the Makoengini village and the sorrounding district of Kwale depends directly on farming and fishing.
Our environmental projects are designed with the objective to address these underlying issues and concerns. We undertake a sustainable approach towards resolution. Our workshop (social upliftment project) builds equipments including a fishing boat and nets to enable fishermen. We have built water wells and started agricultural initiatives including micro-credits for small businesses and farmers.
